FAQ

How do I get extra credit?

Students may receive extra credit only if their professor offers extra credit for joining the Finance Association. Requirements to earn extra credit are decided by each individual professor; however, the Finance Association takes steps to help professors obtain the information they need to determine membership and event attendance. Towards the end of the semester, the Finance Association submits a complete list of all the members and lists of members’ attendance at events to the professors.

If the student is not a member and is receiving extra credit for attending a single meeting or event, proof of attendance may be provided to the student at the event.

How do I get proof of attendance?

Proof of attendance will be supplied at each of our meetings and events. Proof of attendance may come in the form of a meeting agenda, a proof of attendance card, or a name tag. Proof of attendance is void unless it is stamped, dated, and signed by a FA officer. Attendees will receive their proof of attendance at check in. It is the attendee’s responsibility to have the proof of attendance validated by a FA officer at the end of the event.
