Finance Association is excited to offer FinCoach Tutorials for its members for local Finance students as they begin to prepare to take the Fin Coach. Below you can find the dates for the different days for the tutorials. If you are a Finance Association member you can attend these sessions free, however, if you are not, there will be an $8 charge.

Resume Critique

Finance Association is excited to offer its members the opportunity to interact one on one with real professionals in the Finance industry. This includes members of the community who personally work in HR departments and constantly interview and hire new recruits for their financial companies. So please bring your resumes in so that you can have real professionals help prepare you for real job interviews and resume evaluations.

Business Madness: Managing Your Personal Finances with David Krake

Hey Everyone!

So the Mihaylo college of business is in full swing of the business madness weeks! Continuing that trend, the Finance Association presents, “Managing your Personal Finances” by David Krake, Senior Financial Adviser for Merrill Lynch on Tuesday, March 6th from 5 pm to 7 pm .

Mr. Krake will give you the chance to analyze your current personal finances, no matter how big or small and help provide possible solutions, ideas, innovative ways to better deal with and manage your finances. Let’s face it, almost everyone struggles with managing their personal finances at one point, and being a college student only adds to the burden. Well then, head on over to this event and learn some new ways or retrieve some old methods to better manage your personal finances.
AS always, food and drinks will be provided.

Finsurance Exhibit

“The Finsurance Exhibit on Wednesday, March 7th will have selected companies / organizations in the finance and insurance industry to showcase their job opportunities or privileges in joining their organization.
The Finsurance Exhibit will feature:
Burns & Wilcox, Chase, Business Finance Alumni Chapter, State Farm, Prudential, Aon, Gallagher Benefit Services of CA Insurance Services, and the Disney College Program.
Lunch will be provided. Each student will need to visit at least five companies to be entered in the raffle drawing. A raffle will be held every hour at the event depending on the number of donations from the companies/organization.

LazerTag

Hey Everyone!

On Thursday March 8th, Finance Association will be having its Laser Tag social event at Laser quest in Fullerton. The address is:

229 E. Orangethrope Ave, Fullerton, CA.

Please plan to arrive there by 7-7:10 pm as the game will be starting around 7:20 pm. After the game we will have pizza and will be most likely done by 8:45 pm. We hope to see you all there!
